The fact that after instructions of the team box the race’s leader Brazilian Felipe Massa let Fernando Alonso go ahead of him, who then got the checkered flag, reports gazeta.ru with reference to Autosport. FIA judges believe that paragraph 39.1 of the Sports Regulations of Formula 1, which stipulates that "team instructions that affect the result of the race are prohibited”, was violated. In the last round Ukrainian grandmaster Ruslan Ponomaryov played to a stalemate against Le Kwang of Vietnam and then was named the winner of the chess tournament in Dortmund.

In the last round he played to a stalemate against Kwang. Given that the Ukrainian needed a stalemate in the 10th round, he built up his game in such a way that he did not even encroach on the territory of his opponent. Exhausted from the previous round, Kwang could not gain a more favorable position and as soon as the rivals passed the first control test, the match ended in a stalemate after three repeat moves.

Overall, the 19-year old Kwang can consider coming second a serious achievement as he had the lowest rating in the tournament. Russian master Vladimir Kramnik took third place.
