According to him, the issue of gas prices is one of the most important in relations between Ukraine and Russia. Rybak noted that the current gas price of 560 dollars per thousand cubic meters makes Ukrainian enterprises uncompetitive.
However, he said that during his recent visit to Ukraine the State Duma Speaker Serhiy Naryshkin discussed the prospects for solving the gas issue between the countries.
´ Presidential elections are coming to an end, and the materials for meetings of the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia are prepared, and the answers to all of the existing economic problems will be found. There are many technical issues that need to be addressed both in Russia, and Ukraine», summed up Rybak.
Reference. Presidential elections in Russia will be held on March 4, 2012. For the first time the Russian president will be elected for six years.
There are five registered candidates: Vladimir Zhirinovskiy, Gennadiy Zyuganov, Serhiy Mironov, Mykhailo Prokhorov and Vladimir Putin.
