5th annual international Ukrainian Energy Forum in Kyiv

The 5th annual Adam Smith Ukrainian Energy Forum takes place on 23rd 26th June at the Hotel Intercontinental in Kyiv and we look forward next month to hearing first-hand about the key energy priorities of the new government.

Amongst the latest Forum news:

  • Acting Energy Minister Yuri Prodan confirms his intention to address the Forum on the governments latest priorities;
  • Bard Glad Pedersen, State Secretary with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and himself an experienced former energy executive with Statoil, has confirmed that he will join us to discuss the opportunities for Ukraine to cooperate further with this major energy player;
  • Andriy Kobolev, Chairman of the Board, andOleksandrTodiychuk, Deputy Chairman ofNAKNaftogaz of Ukraine, have both confirmed their intention to address such key issues as diversification of gas supplies and the future status of the gas transit and storage infrastructure;
  • DmytroKashchuk, the newly-appointedHead of the State Geological Service, will highlight priorities for the service in one of his first public speeches in the role;

Another new programme highlight will be an Expert Roundtable Discussion on the fate of the oil & gas investment projects in the Crimea and Black Sea on 25th June.
