Businessmen Borys Fuksman and Oleksandr Rodnianskiy hammered late March a deal involving acquisition of 50% of the project for construction of five-star Hilton hotel in Kyiv and several luxury apartments in Kyiv. Fuksman and Rodnianskiy each acquired a 25% stake in the project. The two businessmen are reported to actively take part in the implementation of this project and facilitate earliest commissioning of the US $ 150 mn project. The deal has been approved by the Antimonopoly Committee as well as Hilton International, which is expected to be the operator of the hotel. The design, drafted by the Kyiv affiliate of the London-based John Seifert Architects that designed Hilton hotels in many countries, also provides for construction of several luxury apartments.
