Open classes We are the EURO 2012 hosts

The national football teams of France, England and Sweden will play their first matches in the capital of Ukraine, according to the UEFA 2012 Final Draw Ceremony held on December 2 in Kyiv. The Kyiv city hall decided after the ceremony to launch a series of open classes in international and special schools in Kyiv. Local EURO 2012 Organizing Committee, KCSA, media people and Friends of EURO 2012 will hold seminars within the framework of the We are the EURO 2012 hosts program. Among the friends of EURO 2102 there are prominent Ukrainian athletes, journalists and TV hosts as Mykola Vasylkiv, Ihor Kondratyuk, Denys Sylantyev, Serhiy Prytula, Olha Freimut, others. French and British international schools, P. Tychyna Gymnasium #191, and sports school #170 have already hosted EURO 2012 open classes that give students an opportunity to learn more about UEFA, its leadership, interesting facts and peculiarities of EURO 2012. The classes will also inform students on preparations for hosting EURO 2012 in Kyiv. The goal of open classless is to raise profile of EURO 2012 championship among youth, familiarize students with teams which will be playing in Kyiv and countries they come from.
